Competitive
cyclists spend hours every week riding, training, and racing on the
weekends. Many of us also work full or part-time, and manage the
stress of everyday work and home life. This is why it’s easy
to get burnt out after many months and years of doing the sport.
However, it doesn’t have to be that way. Your host firmly believes
in creating balance in your life and in your cycling, whether it’s
something you do as a serious amateur, a recreational cyclist or
a pro. It’s important to have fun, work hard, and take care
of the body we all work so hard all the time.
Furthermore, your Snowbird Cycling host understands the importance
of sef care as you train- that means eating right, stretching,
resting and relaxing. The cycle of riding to build strength and
speed is a cycle of stretching and warm up, working your body hard
on the bike, cooling down, stretching, eating resting and recovering,
then getting up and doing it all over again. All of this with the
goal of getting stronger.
