A typical retreat looks like this, subject to guests’ personal preferences and goals for the week:
Saturday: Noon-3PM:
Guests arrive/transport from airport. Get settled at the house. Assemble bikes. Go for a short test ride along the coast to loosen up and check equipment. Tools and mechanic available on site to assist. Relax and enjoy group dinner with full orientation to the local area and the week’s ride options.
Sunday: Early AM:
Stretching, breakfast provided until 9:30AM.
Long bike ride inland on rolling terrain, through aromatic citrus groves and southern California ranches.
Sunday afternoon and evening:
Relax, enjoy the hot tub, optional massage appointments.
Dinner on your own.
Monday - Friday daily:
Early morning stretching, breakfast.
A full day of riding long or short distances, including thousands of feet of climbing.
*Famed regional rides include long coastline views of surf, Palomar mountain (5240 feet elevation), North County inland roadways far north intoTemecula wine country, and last year’s popular “Pie Ride” to the quaint Old West, mountain town of Julian, CA. There are also full day rides that take us to the edge of the Borrego desert or south toward the Mexico border. Plenty of options that your host can lead you on daily, based on guest preferences.
Relax in the hot tub or sauna, enjoy the property with its spectacular private beach walk at sunset. Full kitchen access, dinner on your own in or out at any of the many local favorite establishments.

Mid-week city options:
Sunset harbor boat ride
Evening enjoying downtown San Diego’s gaslight area.
Friday evening:
Late afternoon massage appointments/yoga.
Farewell dinner and wrap-up.
Saturday morning:
Early morning stretch, breakfast.
Departure by 10AM.
Airport transfers.
